CloudEdge™ is a software termination endpoint for MicroEdge™ tunnels. It can run in a virtual machine in a data center, public cloud or private cloud.
CloudEdge™ supports encrypted data plane traffic, terminating behind the service provider firewall.
All external network flows are securely tunneled to CloudEdge™ before being routed to their final destination.
A single MicroEdge™ device can establish multiple tunnels to distinct CloudEdge™ services. For example, one tunnel can be assigned to an application server processing device data, while a second is assigned to a third party device monitoring server.
